God has spoken uniquely to each MOMENTUM conference speaker and guided them in developing a message specific to your men, youth, or couples.  We call this their ‘heart message’. During a MOMENTUM men's event each speaker takes time to help organize the men into small groups for follow-up, and we give each man a follow-up discipleship tool included in the registration price. This six-week tool is basedon the ‘heart message’ they just heard at the conference. 

The speaker will actually stop the conference on Saturday and help the men form follow-up groups. Each church will have learned about this in the Pre-Event Training typically held 12-14 weeks prior to the event, and will be prepared to have leaders ready to ‘pastor’ that moment.

Many of the men will take this piece and incorporate it into their existing small group. Others will find a few friends and begin a new group, while some may look for guidance from church leaders to be placed in a group. Regardless of how they respond, research indicates that using this approach will ensure that nearly 80% of the attendees will indeed begin the 6-week follow-up. This is a great “next step” strategy that sustains the momentum generated by the event.
